Pastoring the traditions of our faith to the contemporary flock
Experience to offer guidance through the changing times
Our culture is shifting,
and our understanding of faith evolving.
In every time and place, Jesus Christ is Lord.
40 Years Experience

Warmth, stewardship, and faithfulness are the signposts of my journey with God's people. From seminary in Pittsburgh, to ordination in San Francisco, through installed positions in California, Illinois, Pennsylvania and Ohio, I have led congregations large and small, preaching the Gospel, encouraging the faint-hearted, and envisioning God's future.
Children of God
I have a special gift for children's messages, informed by the creation and revitalization of youth ministry programs over many years.
Aiding in the growth of our children's transition to adulthood has always been important to me. Volunteering with a local chapter of the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program matched me with Christopher, and I was honored to receive the "Big Brother of the Year (2017)". Chris and I completed our match but our friendship continues.

The Life of a Pastor
"I am the Resurrection and the Life," says our Lord.

The theme of death in life is central to the Christian faith. Disciples are called to follow Jesus and 'die' to following their own desires. Discovering what discipleship means for this day and age,
in every unique setting, opens my heart to your story, and informs my prayer life and presence
in the pulpit.
